Jordin Sparks

When Sydney and Spencer got in the car yesterday she began sounding off that a boy in her class was telling her he was Jordin Sparks' cousin. She went on about how she doesn't think it's true wondering if she should believe him..

Today Sydney and Spencer jump in the car excitedly telling me that Jordin Sparks was at their school today and they both met her. Sydney then said, "I guess he was telling the truth."

Another mission for Nana

My mom enjoyed serving an 18 month mission in New Zealand so much that she applied for another one shortly after she came home.  She was beyond anxious to find out where she would be asked to go.  The mailman was interrogated every day on whether or not he had her call.  He was sweet and hand delivered the letter.  

Gary wouldn't let her open it unless he was there around 3pm.  To kill time she went to the gym and then picked up Tiff so she could be there too.  I was on video chat, but hit a button and missed it. Thank goodness Jen & Tiff filmed it!

She loves geneaology work and this couldn't be more perfect.  We are so excited for her new adventure!   

Argh Argh Argh

The ride home was the best. Dason was pretty funny. He told me the nurse who helped him out the car was "hot" (first time I've EVER heard him use that phrase).

The whole ride home he kept saying "argh argh argh I'm a pirate" over and over again. Fresh out of surgery or not I was ready to "argh argh argh" him!

Dason Imparting Wisdom

I loved his deep discussion of how time is stored on cards and each second is frozen on one and God can flip through them. He was cracking me up!

In case you were wondering.. after he recovered from getting his wisdom teeth out he told me that he expected all of this to make it on the blog. I was more than happy to oblige. :)

When I came in the nurse was giving the instructions of the care to give at home he locked his eyes in a glaze and left his tongue at the front of his mouth. It totally freaked me out (for lack of a better phrase). The nurse snapped at him a few times to wake up and swallow. He finally did. Turns out he was just having fun with me. Grrr!
